In the summer days of 2018, a transformation began within my family that I could have never anticipated. It was the year my sister decided to embark on a vegan journey. As the months rolled on, I watched her diligently scrutinize food labels, and I saw her frustration when it came to finding delectable desserts that met her new dietary standards.

It was in the midst of these culinary conundrums that I had a realization. I couldn't bear to see my sister miss out on the simple joy of indulging in sweet treats. And so, my adventure into the world of vegan baking began.

As 2019 dawned, the kitchen became my laboratory, and the goal was clear: create delicious vegan desserts that could put a smile on my sister's face. The result of those countless hours of mixing, baking, and testing was something truly special.

In November 2019, after months of dedication and a fair share of flops and triumphs, Miranda Vegan Goodies was born. It was more than a bakery; it was a testament to the love I had for my sister and the commitment I had to making her vegan journey delightful. Our flagship product was the delectable vegan and gluten-free gingerbread cookies. Each bite was an enchanting blend of spices and sweetness, a testament to the idea that one could still enjoy their favorite flavors without compromising their convictions.

By mid-2020, our humble kitchen operation had blossomed into something greater than I ever dreamed. I had poured my heart and soul into perfecting recipes and expanding our menu. Miranda Vegan Goodies had not only preserved the tradition of mouthwatering desserts but had also developed seven new recipes, all carefully crafted to cater to those with the same dietary restrictions as my sister.

The following year, 2021, marked a turning point in our journey. Miranda Vegan Goodies had grown beyond the confines of our home kitchen. The delightful aroma of our treats now wafted through a local restaurant and cafe. You could even find our creations on popular food delivery apps like Uber Eats and Rappi, or catering a wedding. What had started as a labor of love for my sister had become a thriving venture, spreading the joy of vegan indulgence to countless others.

Our story was one of dedication, resilience, and the pursuit of a heartfelt mission. It was a testament to the power of family, love, and the boundless possibilities that come to life when we set our hearts on making the world a little bit sweeter, one vegan treat at a time.
